Our Team

As of June 2025, Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, IAS (Retd.), serves as the Chief Executive of the National Cooperative Union of India (NCUI), having assumed the role on March 1, 2021 . Dr. Mahajan holds a Doctorate in Radiation Genetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and an LLB from Delhi University. A 2005-batch IAS officer from the AGMUT cadre, he has held significant positions, including Secretary roles in the Delhi and Goa governments.

Dr. Sudhir Mahajan, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of the 2005 AGMUT cadre, retired as Secretary, General Administration Department, Delhi Government. He holds a Doctorate in Radiation Genetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and an LLB from Delhi University. Dr. Mahajan assumed the role of Chief Executive at NCUI on March 1, 2021, bringing over two decades of administrative experience to strengthen the cooperative movement in India
